From the first days of the full-scale war, the Lviv railway station became a shelter for hundreds of thousands of people. It was to support them that medical and psychological assistance was established at the station.

Since then, dozens of volunteers have been providing assistance to everyone who is evacuating to the Lviv region.

They meet them, feed them, provide information, first medical and psychological aid, and direct them to places where they can get clothes, food, housing, and find work.

You will
  • to assist IDPs arriving on evacuation trains and buses.

  • Volunteer with medical students and doctors.

  • Practice providing psychological and first aid.

  • Interact with various government agencies.

  • Work in a team of motivated people.

Read lectures on disease prevention

Medical students, doctors, interns, and psychologists, in the format of lectures as part of the "Hear the Doctor" project, tell schoolchildren and internally displaced people in shelters in the Lviv region about the importance of disease prevention, taking care of their health, and the basics of a healthy lifestyle.

Helping the elderly

Since the start of the full-scale war, the Lviv region has become a haven for hundreds of thousands of internally displaced persons. A significant number are vulnerable categories that require special care and attention.

Unfortunately, geriatric centers and assisted living facilities in our region are overcrowded. There is a need to increase the number of staff and expand the network of such facilities.

Helping shelters

Since the full-scale invasion, the Lviv region has hosted more than 250,000 internally displaced persons. Most of them live in shelters. If you would like to help in this direction, you can review the needs in shelters and contact us.
