February 24 forever divided the lives of Ukrainians into before and after. Thousands of Ukrainians were forced to flee and ended up at Lviv Railway Station.

The number of people at the station reached 41,000

Volunteers assisted people who were in need of medical care and crisis counseling at that time, which led to the creation of Medical and Psychological Assistance at the Lviv Railway Station. More and more people joined to help, and by March, the number of active individuals reached nearly 2,000 volunteers. The Lviv Railway Station and the "Medical and Psychological Assistance" volunteer service became a meeting point for partners as well; therefore, in mid-March, the development of a system of consultative and coordination centers began to ensure the optimal resettlement of people within the Lviv region and the distribution of partner aid among various shelters.
